Sunshine Easy Company is family owned and operated. Mr. Jim Wu, the President of Sunshine Easy Company, is a business professional with over 25 years’ experience in the healthcare industry including developing, implementing, managing, and enhancing new start-up companies in both China and U.S.

Mr. Wu has an extensive background in importing and exporting, sourcing and outsourcing, identifying new markets for established products, setting up distribution networks, and training and coaching of international business cultures. He has strong business development, commercial, and operations experience in USA, China and Internationally.  He has an approved history in facilitating partnerships between China and U.S. businesses.

His experience includes developing new business opportunities for the small and mid-sized business by increasing imports/exports; designing international business promotion programs; and implementing China specific PR and marketing strategic plans. He also has significant experience with setting government relations strategies to promote and protect American business interests in China.

Sunshine Easy Company is an initial importer of medical devices approved by FDA and Medical Device Distributor in Texas. With headquarters in Houston and offices in Beijing & Shanghai, China, we can assist our U.S. clients to purchase from Chinese suppliers in the most effective and efficient way and help our Chinese sellers promote their medical devices in the United States.

Jim Wu
Founder

Mr. Wu has over 25 years of experience in investment and financing, marketing and sales, international market entry consultation, international procurement and contract manufacturing in the fields of biopharmaceuticals and medical devices. He has rich experience in international trade import and export, procurement and outsourcing, new product market expansion, and establishing offline and online distribution networks. Mr. Wu is the founder and president of Sunshine Easy Company, a US-based company, and the CFO of TomoWave (Suzhou) Medical Imaging Co., Ltd. in China. He also serves as the Chairman of the White Mountain Medical Foundation in the United States. He is an outstanding alumnus and alumni advisor of the Peking University School of Medicine and a member of the Leadership Committee of the Peking University School of Medicine-University of Michigan Medical School Joint Institute. Mr. Wu graduated from the Peking University School of Medicine with a bachelor's degree in clinical medicine in 1994 and from the Bauer Business School at the University of Houston with a master's degree in business administration in 2005.

Dr. Alexander, known as the "Father of International Biomedical Optoacoustic Imaging," has dedicated over 20 years to the research and industrial translation of biomedical optoacoustic imaging technology. He has received funding of nearly $20 million from institutions such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and has applied for 21 patents, including the world's first optoacoustic patent titled "Method and System for Optoacoustic Imaging." He has also published 11 monographs and over 200 research papers. He has been honored with the Berthold Leibinger Innovations Prize and the James Smith Award from the International Photoacoustic and Photothermal Association. Currently, Dr. Alexander serves as the CEO and CTO of TomoWave Laboratories, Inc., where he focuses on the development and commercialization of high-resolution, high-contrast, and high-sensitivity 3D optoacoustic tomography (OAT) technology for oncology and biology. He also holds the positions of CEO and General Manager at TomoWave (Suzhou) Medical Imaging Co., Ltd., an adjunct professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Houston and a Distinguished Professor of Medical Imaging at Guangzhou Medical University. Furthermore, Dr. Alexander has held various positions throughout his career, including being a board member and Chief Technology Officer (Vice President of Medical Technologies) at Seno Medical Instruments, Director of the Optoacoustic Imaging and Spectroscopy Laboratory at the Biomedical Engineering Center of the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, adjunct assistant professor at the College of Optometry at the University of Houston, adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University, and the Santander Chair of Excellence in Electronics at Carlos III University of Madrid. Dr. Alexander graduated from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute with a bachelor's degree in theoretical and experimental physics in 1978, from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute with a master's degree in ultrafast laser spectroscopy of biomolecules in 1980, and from the Institute of Spectroscopy of the Soviet Academy of Sciences with a doctoral degree in spectroscopy, photochemistry, and biophysics in 1986.

Jianlin Song

Jianlin Song, M.D., J.D., graduated from the top medical school in Beijing, China, and began her professional life as a physician. Her education and work experience in medicine provide her with a solid background and extensive knowledge to represent companies and individual practitioners in the life sciences and health care industries after she entered the legal profession. During her 17-year legal career, Dr. Song has defended manufacturers of a very broad spectrum of life science products, from food supplements and dental adhesives to prescription drugs and medical devices. She also has represented clinical and diagnostic laboratories and medical, dental and nursing practitioners in professional malpractice cases and licensing disputes. In recent years she began representing assisted living facilities in elder abuse litigation. Dr. Song’s many successes include a number of reported no-liability judgments for medical device manufacturers and life science providers, a dismissal of a Dental Board accusation after 10 sessions of administrative hearing spanning over four months, and multiple successful settlements in cases with multimillion-dollar demands. In addition to her litigation practice, Dr. Song regularly advises domestic and international companies on FDA regulations, CLIA regulations and other regulations in the life sciences industries. She has been a frequent author and speaker on these issues.
